during my stay, I appreciated the warmth of the reception and the wonderful breakfast, making my mornings more enjoyable, and with Burgess Park just a short stroll away, I loved the peaceful walks among nature right after exploring the vibrant South London Gallery that was only a few minutes away.

I loved starting my mornings with the delicious breakfast and the cozy lounge where I could grab a book and relax. The seating area in the garden was perfect for unwinding after a long day, and the patio offered such a chill vibe to sip a drink. The only downside was the thin walls, which let in a bit more noise than I'd like, but it didn't ruin my stay. 😊

I had a great time here! The room was quirky but comfortable, and I loved the artisanal pizza options at the restaurant. Not to mention the free WiFi that worked perfectly for my needs.

I loved spending my weekend here, as it was a short walk to South London Gallery and less than 2 km to the lively Borough Market, making it super easy to explore the city and indulge in local eats.

Not worth the price

So I was kinda bummed about my stay here. The hotel looks way fancier online, but in reality, it’s just average. The noise at night was pretty annoying, and I felt a bit on edge walking back alone. The breakfast in the lounge was decent, though. Just don’t expect a cozy night’s sleep.

I absolutely loved the unique themed rooms that made me feel a part of local culture! The on-site pizza restaurant served the best thin crust pizza I've ever tasted, making dining in a delight! Plus, the friendly reception staff, especially Dhiren and Joanna, added such a personal touch to my stay. they truly went above and beyond.

Cheap and cheerful

Was a budget option that got the job done for us. The non-window room worked since the view was just scaffolding anyway. But the hallway lights were on all night, which made it hard to sleep. Soundproofing could be better. We skipped the expensive bar and found some good takeout nearby instead.
